It explored the emotional and sensory impact of urban greyness on daily life. Inspired by the traditional handweaving practices of Iranian nomadic women from the Zagros Mountains—where stories, feelings, and aspirations are embedded into textiles—participants were invited to reflect on and transform their own urban environments through weaving. A gallery wall was transformed into a large-scale vertical loom, creating a collective space for expression. Over several sessions, participants translated personal perceptions of their surroundings into woven forms. The project highlighted weaving not only as a meditative act of resistance and imagination, but also as a practice of reclaiming agency and re-envisioning everyday life through craft.
